I have defined feature styles from an XIN file within a dgblib file. If I then begin working in a seperate file, creating a design using this dgnlib, each time I use feature style ABC it is copied into the active file. What happens if I need to make a change to a setting in feature style ABC that has been used (copied) into the active file?
If I use the "Link Active Feature Style" command it copies in all the feature styles from the XIN file into my active file. I do not want or need all the feature styles in my active file.
If I go into the dgnlib file and use the "Link Active Feature Style" I get doubles of every feature style. So, first you must delelte all the feature styles before using this command.
Ok then, so I have deleted all the feature styles in the dgnlib, re-linked the active feature styles from my XIN file in which I have changed a setting in the style ABC. But now style ABC in my active my is not updated with these changes.
How can I get past this delema?
