Import Bspline surface into InRoads

I am unable to import a Bspline surface into InRoads, it will not reconize it as a feature. I can use the drop element command and import each element in seperately, but the triangulated surface differs from the actual Bspline surface I need. Any why to import a Bspline surface into InRoads?????
