We have a client that has us create sections for stream work. They want plotted sections with labels on points. They don't want us to shoot topo and then cut sections.
So the guys shoot linear figures along the sections and dual code the linear figure points with spot grades, top of bank, toe of slope, etc.
We then make an alignment as the direct us and build a DTM even though between the sections, the surface is crap. We plot the linear figures and use them as custom section linestrings. I tried setting the dual coded point styles to plot projected points but for the current task, there are only 3 sections. The middle one seems to work, plotting the feature points on the section. But the sections at the edge either plot no features or only some. I tried adding some dummy points before and after so the sections are within a DTM and not right on the edge. That did not help.
Does anyone know how I can get all of the projected features to plot?
