Cut & Fill under Terrain Model in ss3

I´m trying to create Cut & Fill under the menu ”Terrain Model”. I succeed in creating some sort of triangulated element with a Feature Definition.

But, I would like to have Contours too. I have created an Element Template with Contour Definition connected to my Feature Definition selected, when I create my Cut & Fill. I get the correct Feature Definition, but no Contours.

My questions are:

1. Is it possible to get Contours with the Cut & Fill Command under Terrain Model?
2. What kind of element is created when I perform the command Cut & Fill?
