I am starting a new project next week using Power Geopak V8i SS2.
I will be given some point data from a cell phone collected in the field in lat-long format. But before I import the lat-long formatted point data, I want to set the correct Geographic Coordinate System in the model. I assume that this is the proper step to set the correct coordinate system in my model in order for the points to import correctly. Or is there a way to force the points to re-project/transform on-the-fly as they are being imported?
