I am using the "element component quantities" command under the Analysis and Reporting Task to try and compute an asphalt level up quantity. This was added to the model as an overlay component in the template. Using this command I am only getting an area for the results even though it most certainly is a volume component.
If I use the "Component Quantities" command under the Corridor Modeling task it does report on this component as a volume result.
Reason I am using the Element Component Quantities command is it honors the clipping of corridors (like for a bridge) while the "Component Quantities does not.
Why does the "element component quantities" command only report this type of component as an area result?
