OpenRoads (MX SS3) Cross Sections not pulling in reference terrain

Good afternoon everyone,

I have an issue generating cross sections in MXROAD SS3.  

I click the Corridor Modelling R2 button

Then select the alignment string (which is referenced in)

Load the preferences

Select the cross section(s) required and name the model

The alignment strings show, but not the 3D extruded template or the existing terrain.

Inevitably I've missed something along the way, but I'm baffled as to what.  Has anyone had a similar experience?  More importantly, does anyone have any remedy?
