I've been requested to find out the cut volume of an area of the sea bed that is to be cut down to a certain depth with a cut slope of 1:5 and 1:3. Same area location but different slopes. I've created the end-condition template for the slopes, the sea bed terrain, the cut depth terrain and the 3D feature of area perimeter. I created a template corridor for both slopes and used Power Inroads to analyse the 2 terrain. However I noticed that the analysis is based on the terrain without consideration of the slope. Thus giving the same volume for both slopes.
Have anyone done this or similar using Power Inroads? Would appreciate if you could share how you do it... Thanks in advance.
