This is an OpenRoads dynamic cross section model of my cross section.
The bold red line follows the terrain. It's following the shoulder, of course, and then it runs along the curb surface but it skips down to the bottom of the pavement prism and then you can faintly see that it runs down even further and ends at the subgrade surface to the right of the centerline.
How do I get the terrain to follow only the top surface?
In case it matters, Chuck Rheault (caddcop) had commented on this in another thread (one less relevant to this problem), saying that the program should be able to sort out the top surface on its own, but it clearly isn't working in this case. Am I doing something wrong here?
I've gone through the Project Explorer to find the corridor's features. Finding the point of the bottom left point in the pavement prism, I've gotten to the Terrain Models part and I can see where I should be able to change from Boundary (not quite sure why that's even set that way), but if I change that to Remove from Terrain Model, the setting doesn't stick and it goes right back to Boundary.
I've tried using the ordinary Remove Features (from Terrain Model) tool but that won't work either.
