Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) - Placing model on cross sections

I have created a drainage model using the SS3 version of SUE - 08.11.09.722. I am able to show the pipes and inlets on the cross sections, but I have two questions:

1. Is it possible to label the drainage items on the cross sections? I would like to show the pipe sizes and possibly the slopes on the lateral pipes, but the drainage features aren't showing up under the annotate dialog, and there is no setting under the feature definitions for cross sections.
2. What is the best way to show crossing pipes on the cross sections. If I select the lateral pipes and use them as Linestrings under the custom create cross sections dialog, then the inlets are only partially shown because the pipes tie into the inlets. Would I have to manually extend these pattern lines to show the inlets and outlet headwalls? Hopefully there is a better way.
