I'm an MX user starting to look at openroads. I also went to one of the Bentley CONNECT seminars where a system of attributes has been introduced within packages such as Microstation connect. These attributes could contain lots of different types of business information to enhance the model.
My question is, is there currently any way of adding these custom attributes to models within MX/Openroads? For example adding the pavement specification to the model as an attribute.
I believe this was achieved with great effort on the A5 major highways project through the development of a suite of programs using vb.net to automate the process of adding attribute data to all object types, meshes, SUE combined objects and native Microstation objects.
