When I cut sections, I like placing each sheet into its own model. This does create a number of issues however. The Cross Section Viewer does not retain the Views selected for Plan and Section when the Viewer moves into a new model. Also, since it moves to a new model, you almost need to have the same files referenced into each model to benefit from the Plan View.
I propose, that we have an option to use a multi-model view for the Plan View when using the viewer. This would allow a Plan View Model to be used to show the plan view while reviewing the sections, even if each sheet was in its own model.
I realize this will not make it back to earlier versions, however, I wish Bentley would consider how many of its customers are tied to particular versions by Client requirements and/or workspace and consider some service packs or other fixes releases for those of us in this position.
