I built a corridor that everything seemed to be working fine until I had to adjust my vertical alignment. I Redefined the profile in geopak, re-imported the geometry into my corridor model but the corridor was still following the OLD profile.
My profile is named PRE1804. I tried to do a work around by doing a “save as” of my updated profile as PRE1804_SAVE. I then deleted the original PRE1804 profile. Then loaded my PRE1804_SAVE and did another “save as” calling the new one PRE1804.
Went back to corridor modeling, the geometry leaf was blank (which is a regular occurrence for me), so I re-created and re-imported my geometry using PRE1804 and my profile was still following the outdated vertical alignment.
I then changed my geometry to follow the PRE1804_SAVE version, re-imported, opened Roadway Designer, and got an error message saying it couldn’t find my vertical alignment.
So I changed by geometry again to look for PRE1804, re-imported and when I open Roadway Designer I get the following error message:
[Roadway Design Validation Results
ERROR: For corridor 1804, the vertical alignment PRE1804 with Unique Identifier {64099AB0-67D9-4169-AB79-970C30C1AE85} cannot be found in the current geometry project.
Please open the correct project, or reselect the vertical alignment in the Corridor Management dialog box.]
Additionally, when I go the corridor management box, the only option I have in the Vertical Alignment pull done is “None”
ANY suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
