3d DP Station and Offset Power Geopak

Hi,

Power GEOPAK 08.11.09.845

I'm trying to draw a line in a 3d model using the DP Station and Offset tool.  When I invoke the Line command and then select  DP, the status windows says "No Element Found at the Station" 

Any suggestions?  Is there a better way to draw in a 3d model using a chain and offset?
