our office has a number of inroads and mx users looking to move to open roads.
the mx users on ss2 are using input files and macros for design and drawing production, also using some scripts for plan production. client dgnlibs and seeds etc are loaded to local by sea cust.
Inroads get their client standards off the server.
both mainly use projectwise integration for design files. some jobs off server.
open roads seems to have an add on of mx or inroads. if the office is to move to testing open roads can we run the 2 ss4 suites and get them to talk to each other on a combined job on projectwise. and also use the native method of linemode and xin,alg etc for older jobs.
Anyone else had experience with this?
