I have a large DOT DGN file that just doesn't play well with autocad. I have microstation v8i and geopak. The plans do not give enough cross section data and we would like to make more cross sections every 20 or 50 feet or so. How hard is it for a newcomer, who is familiar with autocad, to create cross sections from an existing drawing on microstation? Is it something that could be learned in a few hours or days or should we try and hire someone who knows this program well?
