I am using Power Geopak v8i SS2.
I have been sampling borings in plan and profiles using the Geotechnical tools under Road->Utilities. Then I select Visualize Boreholes in Profile, then select Define Profile Origin, lastly select ID Cell. I was reading a DOT white paper on the process recently, and it appears they are also selecting the origin as part of the cell selecting workflow. My workflow is just selecting the cell and accepting with a left click at any random point on the screen, especially since I was not prompted to select anything further. So I have to ask, is my workflow above acceptable by just selecting the cell and accepting by left click at any random point on screen, or should I be selecting the origin by using control+shift or by using the separate DP selection ?
