I am a new MicroStation user that has been using Autodesk for years. I have always brought traverse data into Autodesk products in .fbk format to adjust.
I am trying to work through the same process in GEOPAK and have a couple questions.
I am currently using Power GEOPAK V8i (SELECT Series 4). Is this the best program to import and adjust survey data? Most training videos I have watched are in InRoads.
Is it possible to import a traverse in .fbk format? I have been able to import points but none of the traverse data in .fbk format.
Is there a best method to create a traverse? Either by hand or importing a specific file type. The information I have to create the traverse is angle right, slope distance, vertical angle and coordinates for beginning and end points.
A little bit of direction will save us a lot of time. I haven’t found a good training video addressing my issues.
Below is the beginning of the .fbk file we use to import into Autodesk. I have been trying to find a way to import this format into MicroStation.
