Matching between a civil cell and a terrain

Hello,

I'm trying to figure out how to use a template to fill an area between a civil cell and a corridor terrain.

Specifically, I've created a corridor with a roadway template that omits turf / sidewalk terrain where an entrance occurs.  Then, I've built a 3D civil cell that lays in the entrance apron.  Once the apron is in place, I want to "connect" the civil cell terrain to the corridor terrain with a linear template that follows the edge of the entrance and matches into the adjacent turf.

I've tried selecting the "Project to Design" constraint in the linear template as an end condition, but it doesn't pick up the corridor terrain.
