I am using InRoads V8i ss4, an I am running into a problem with the scale of my 'Place Plan Note" command.
I have an active horizontal alignment, and I am trying to label Station/Offset, and Northing/Easting.
I am using a pre-fab workspace from a D.O.T.
On typical text, I will select a Text Style of "Medium", select annotation lock "On", and it will place annotative text with both Height and Width of 0.070.
BUT when I try to place a Plan Note- I select the style from a notes.dft file. I choose Station/Offset > Settings> I change Symbology>Text: Medium.
I have tried to edit the Named Symbology to be the correct "Medium" text style.
I don't have "Scale" marked in the "Place Plan Note" dialogue box.
The note just keeps coming in very large. After I place the note, I can edit the note text and apply the "Medium" text style to it, then it changes, but I have miles of station to annotate. I dont want to do that for the entire project.
(The image shows the dialogue boxes I am working in. The leader notes are in the background on the left. The smaller one was edited to apply the crooect text style, the larger one has the text style applied in the Text Symbology dialogue, but doesnt display correctlt)
Anyone else run into this issue? Any thoughts would save me hours!
