I'm trying to set up a secondary alignment on a portion of a corridor. However, in order to use it the way I need, I need to be able to set key stations orthogonal to the secondary alignment, not the primary one. Otherwise, I have to do a lot of guessing to get them set in the correct position.
To be more specific, when a secondary alignment is in play, a template is drawn orthogonal to it after it intersects that alignment. In the same way, if I set a key station on a point that falls beyond a secondary alignment, the key station should be drawn orthogonal to the secondary alignment, just as the template is. However, that's not the case. Rather, the key station is always drawn orthogonal to the primary alignment, regardless of the presence of a secondary alignment. That makes keystationing useless in a secondary alignment situation, unless you care to spend a lot of time guessing...
Is there any way to get around that?
