We are a long time InRoads shop and I have processed surveys to deliver a GEOPAK DTM in the past, using the 3D graphics. I also know that we can now create a GEOPAK TIN using InRoads. However, in the past, when I had to accomplish this, the CADD Deliverables (DGN files) were identical to another agency that had an InRoads Survey Feature table, so we were already drawing the graphics to the proper standards.
Now I have a client that has only a GEOPAK SMD file.So I have a few questions
- Is there any way to import the SMD settings into an InRoads XIN file?
- Where are the GEOPAK equivalent to ALPHA CODES found in GEOPAK?
- Where are the GEOPAK equivalent to CONTROL CODES found in GEOPAK?
- Does anyone have any tips to share on a similar situation?
I have exported the SMD to ASCII. XML and MDB and of all of these, I am most comfortable with the XML file. However, creating an XML report stylesheet to write an XIN file is well beyond my current expertise.
