I am looking for a good "help document" that explains what is necessary for and the steps to take in order to label cross sections created by GEOPAK SS3. The cross-section labeler that I just became familiar with in SS2's Roadway Designer is gone, and I find myself stumbling through SS3's XS Annotation process. From what I gather it is similar to Inroads' annotation process(?). The help files explain the Annotation dialog, but what controls which points show up in that dialog? I think I have figured out that it is based on how certain template points are created, but it is completely different than how GEOPAK SS2 used point names, and you could build any point or slope annotation between any template points at the time of labeling. It looks like that these points need to be thought out in advance in SS3, and that you can't simply build any annotation you want unless you specified certain points in the template ahead of time. Is there a step-by-step example somewhere that I can follow?
