Does anyone know how to convert a survey chain to a best fit horizontal alignment the roadway designer. I have surveyed a road crown of a road and made it into one breakline. I am trying to make that breakline, (survey chain), into a best fit horizontal alignment instead of making the lines and curves individually and then making a complex chain out of them. Any ideas???
