Hello. I'm an Autodesk Civil 3d User. At this time I'm running Civil 3d 2013.
I also use Anadelta road design Software (A Greek Software).
In my free time i used to explore additional solutions.
I Know micro station as a product but i have never use it.
I knew, maybe i was wrong, that microstation road design packages was not as dynamic as Civil 3d is, and i never try to use them.
Yesterday i see the new open Road technology in a Webinar from Bentley site and i really like it.
Then i try to find more about Bentley software and i really Confused.
Power Geopack, Power In Roads, Bentley MXROADS, Bentley PowerCivil.
And Supporting Products? What this Mean?
Also another program for Rail Design?
I don't Know from Where to start. I searched the web but not yet clear my mind. I also hear that bentleys products can run on autocad. Is this true?
I didn't find any trial for the software.
Can someone help me understand the usage of each product?
Is there any trial option?
Is anybody use both Bentley and autodesk road design software?
Advantages and disadvantages? I must say that i,m at least an intermediate to advanced civil 3d user in the road design part.
