I need to construct reverse curves with transitions that have a common tangent point, as shown in this standard figure here.
I need both arcs to be of 145m radius and the back-to-back spirals to be 25m long. How should I go about doing that?

[ORD] 3D Drive Through Publish working?
Hi all,
Is anyone else having issues with the ORD 3D Drive through Tool publishing to the Microstation Animation Producer? It doesnt give me any errors, but I see no sign of it in the Animation producer.
My ultimate goal is to use the Drive Through tool to create an alignment based drivethrough for export to LumenRT. I am using ORD 2020 Release 2.

There does not seem to be a tool to create a roundabout. Can I treat the central roundabout as a circular road with multiple junctions.

Moving Stationing Annotation
Sometimes, when annotating an alignment, the annotation text may fall on an element that cannot be covered or moved. Is there a way to move the annotation text vertically so it is in the correct location but higher or lower for just one station? Thanks.

Export components from PowerCivil to Navisworks
We use PowerCivil V8i version 08.11.09.878. To design subsurface utilities we use "Components" commands. For clash detection we use Navisworks Manage 2019. Opening the DGN-file directley in Navisworks we miss the components. Is there any work around to read/export the components to Navisworks?

"Tracking" with Civil Analysis
How can I track both stationing along a baseline and elevations from terrain? When I use civil analysis along a baseline, the elevation it gives me is along the baseline's vertical alignment. I would like to be able to get this information similar to how tracking works in InRoads.

OpenRoads Fails to Launch

Annotating Civil Cells in cross sections in OpenRoads Designer Connect Edition
I have a corridor that I use civil cells for driveways and Tee intersections at both ends. I need to cut cross section at centerline of each driveway. Also I like to see my cross slopes at both ends of my corridor where I have my T intersection civil Cells. In SS4 I was able to select the civil cell terrain in my filters but in OpenRoads designer I am not sure how to accomplish this task since you could only pick template points and civil cells only have surface templates. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Drainage and Utilities - Modify a Rim Elevation?
I'm trying to slightly modify the rim elevation of a catch basin I placed by "Place Node" and referencing a proposed terrain model. Is there any way to do this? I presume it has something to do with being "ruled" to the terrain model... thanks!

3D Line Style - Post located at end of beam
Hi All, I've had a bit of trouble creating a 3D line style, this is originally for ORD 2019 Update 2, however i had some initial problems selecting a 'Base Stroke Pattern', so i've brought this back to Microstation SS3.
Question 1) will there be issues with compatibility from SS3 .rsc and ORD, i imagine it could be visual issues in terms of materials?
Question 2) I've tried for the life of me to located a post at the end of the guard rail beam. The current post spacing 2m centers, is there a way to place a post at spaces between 0m and 2m?
Question 3) ive noticed the first post that gets placed seems to have edges shown in Col 0, - from the screen shot you can see the subsequent post does not have this edging to it, is there a way to remove the edging from the first post?
Question 4) being a noob to line style customisation, Ss there a way to clean up my 'point symbols, as ive used ROAD 3D FGF POST LHS and 3D FGF BEAM LHS - My OCD can just about deal with it, but it will be good if i can clean this up.

Classifying civil objects
How do I set a classification code to the objects i PowerCivil or OpenRoads? In AECOsim it is possible to choose a classification system and use the codes for the objects. Is there any similar functionality in PowerCivil or OpenRoads? How can I add the code to the objects so it can be recognized by exchange or data extraction?

Valid Placement for Civil Cell
i created a new civil cell and the valid placement showed "yes". But when i placed the civil cell in different area, all the valid placement showed "no"
Likewise, i tried to used the default Basic t (Urban) civil cell still the valid placement showed "no".
What will happen if i ignore the valid placement? Also i tried to drop the civil cell and create a new one, still is showed "no"

Invisible Corridor
I have a corridor that I cannot see in the plan view and appears as if it were invisible, but I am able to hover over it and select it. The dynamic cross section in the cross section viewer shows up as it normally would. This is the only corridor in this file and my other corridors in the other files show up correct. I am using ORD Connect 2020 Release 2. Does anyone have any idea what would be causing this?

Open Roads Terrain Models
Has anyone experienced a terrain model begin loaded when it is not referenced in the file that is being opened? We are experiencing some major slow load times when opening files, when the files go through the file opening progress. None of the files are live nested and the terrain model inst active. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Exporting to KML
When I'm exporting my CAD file to KML, the size of the KML is drastically increased. My CAD is around 2MB while the KML is around 60MB. Are there some settings that i am missing?
Also the generated KML is offset by a distance of around 150m. Please suggest how to proceed.

Regarding dynamic Cross section
Dear All,
While checking cross section using Dynamic Section view at a chainage where my two templates are merging, some of my pavement layers looks weird.Please help how to sort it out
Details-
I have used two templates one from chainage 0 to 220 and second from chainage 220 to 500. When i cut cross section at chainage 219 & 221 it look fine. But at chainage 220 where both templates merge it look weird. Please suggest some solution. I had tried changing name of template points but doesn't work.
Also same issue you can see while cutting cross section using name boundary. I had attached image for this too.

Scale a Terrain Model
Hi All,
I received a surface and then received a survey adjustment factor. The surface is perfect when referenced into a file and this survey factor applied in the scale adjustment in the attachments dialogue. Is there any way to scale the surface without remaking it?
