I am doing a series of intersection sight distance triangles. I had cut initial profiles with the existing ground surface. Now I am trying to update the profiles to also show the proposed surface.
For this project, there are multiple segments of proposed surfaces, so I have to select more than one surface each time. And since I am new to this project, I am not familiar enough with the surfaces to know which surface is needed for which profile. The problem is that when I select a profile to update and select the surfaces and press the Apply button, I am prompted to re-triangulate certain surfaces as the triangles are out of date. The issue is, that it is prompting me for this on every single profile and each time, tolerance issues are encountered and it offers to round the computations to address this problem.
My question is this: Why does it need to do this over and over and over and over, each time the command is processed. Why does it not determine that the triangles have been updated, on the previous profile update and are no longer out of date.
