Running Power Geopak .722, similar effects when trying Microstation + Geopak on this computer and another.
I have a Line P-EP58 <Interval> that is a Line From Element P-EP43. (These names aren't appropriate; I was going to handle that at a later time.)
After I created P-EP58, I decided that I shouldn't have trimmed Back. So I've attempted to change that to None. When I do that, the program seizes and brings up a message saying "Power GEOPAK V8I (SELECTseries 3) has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...". All I can do is click Cancel before, or Close program after it reports "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Naturally, no solution is available.
When I try to delete it, the same message comes up.
I made a copy of the file to try to delete all elements except the one that causes Microstation to fail. That works fine. After undoing that step, I tried again to delete this rogue element and the same error came up.
I tried to drop complex. Same thing.
Through the labels that show up in the field as you click the element--"In Place Editing", I guess it's called--I can change the length of the element, except that it remains shortened by the "trim/extend" being set.
Alternatively, if I delete the complex element holding P-EP43, I can delete P-EP58 with no issue. That is not an acceptable solution, however, so I'd rather figure this out.
Any ideas?
