InRoads SS4 - Civil Cell possible references

Hello,

I'm preparing data structure for quite big project and i'm not sure how to ,,divide" local roads, so i have a question:

- is it possible to place Civil Cell using as a reference line (for example edge of pavement) from microstation reference file? (when I tried to do it, I received announcement that it is not possible with read only file).

without this possibility i have to keep all my roads in one file. I think that it could not work fast enough...
