Design and Computation manager

I am working with manage workspaces in ProjectWise. One issue am having is accessing the DDB's files in Geopak. Even though I have set up the GPK_ACBOOK_DDBFILE and GPK_ACBOOK_DDBFILE_STYLES variables in my UCF file, when I access the DDB in Microstation just goes to the last DDB file I was using. It looks like no matter what I do with these two variables (I even FORCE the variables), the design computation manager won't take it. 

When I checked the configuration window in Microstation my variables are there, but don't do what they suppose to be doing!...Any ideas?
