This may be widely known, but today I found this article and learned that I can use the tab key to cycle through a stack of elements. I'd only been taught to right-click (reset) through. You can imagine that's problematic when using certain delicate tools. Perhaps I was never taught this because it was prior to OpenRoads, and prior to OpenRoads, I wouldn't be caught dead using Identify Elements Automatically. Since OpenRoads, however, it's almost mandatory for a huge chunk of tools.
I just want to share, in case anyone else like me was unaware of this fact.
