Hi, I am new for corridor model. When I use corridor model to drawing cross section, all proposed roadway components are in the default level. What should I do to avoid this error. Thanks, Allen
How to keep cross section component lines in different level?
Geopak Drainage Areas bug
My areas do not re-draw from a new microstation file from the gdf! They were originally drawn as shapes (select shape for area) and when I "update all nodes and... links" and analyze the system, the areas do not show up. They are in the gdf with all the correct information but can't be seen.
It causes a crash If I try to copy and paste them from a backup file.
IF I add a new node and area, all of a sudden my areas do "re-draw" but some of them are missing (but still in gdf apart of nodes)
What is going on? I basically have to work with a file that can't edit shapes?
any recommendations to fix?
Plan Annotation SS4 (Previously - surface>annotate feature)
Hi There
I am trying to annotate elevations along feature lines...Can anyone advise on how to achieve the same outcome as inroads commands surface>view surface>annotate feature?
I have a corridor in Power civil that I have successfully produced cross sections for, incl. elevations and offsets.
I now wish to annotate these EOP elevations same features at the same station values in plan.
Thanks
Surface Not Displaying Accurately in Cross Sections
Any tips on displaying surfaces on cross sections? My existing surface in the cross section view didn't look accurate (end conditions terminating before or after the surface) so I cut a profile at the same location as the section, copied the existing surface from the profile to the cross section, and the end conditions ended at the correct locations on the existing surface from the profile. So something is wrong with how the existing surface is being displayed in the cross section. I'd rather not repeat this process for every cross section. I'm using MicroStation SS2 and InRoads SS2. Any troubleshooting tips would be appreciated!

Importing multiple ASCII files with same import wizard file (MXRoad .845)
Hi All,
Is it possible to import a serries of files (aprox. 250 +) .csv files at once, At the moment I use Import ASCII file (from file menu) and select import wizard file, apply the string name and run it.
Is there a option to select all the .csv files and apply the wizard file?

SS4 Cross section Annotation text moves when copied
When you cut cross sections in SS4 it puts the cross sections in a Drawing Model but for our client we need it to be in the Design Model. Below is a picture of the referenced Drawing Model in a Design Model (all the text is where it should be).
But after I copy it into the Design Model some text moves, as seen below. What is causing this or is there a workaround to keep this from happening?
Interaction between MX road and IN ROAD
Hello, I´m new using the software and I would like to know the possible interactions between IN road and MX road, as well as the uses of Mx road in Open Plant.

How do I remove error message elements
I was working with the SUE plugin for inroads and after changing the feature definition on an already placed conduit a small blue "I" icon appeared on my screen. All the icon does is provide the following message in the element information if it is selected,
"Changing the feature definition changed the shape of the pipe."
Since this was my intent and the icon wasn't causing any harm I moved on. Now I am trying to clear this file so I can use it as a base for my new seed file. I have deleted all the elements that this icon was associated with as well as everything else in the file but I can't get rid of these little message icons. Does anyone know what these are and how I can remove them? See the images below for the icon and error message.
ROAD SURVEY
Does anybody have the ROAD SURVEY used in the Bentley's Tutorials?

Projecting back of curb profile
Hello,
I have a video by Bentley of how to project the back of curb profile onto the main alignment profile. So I followed the steps and it works flawlessly in SS4 but in SS3 it is not propagating to the gpk.
Note: Video is too large for me to attach here. Please send me an ftp, should you be interested in watching that video.
Please advise.
Is there a way to backup or keep the hotkey settings?
Geopak civil workflow
How do I get the civil workflow menu to appear in the Task toolbar?
Elements set to "Exclude from Triangulation" show up in TIN file
We have a dummy line that we use to set our roadside ditch depths, and despite being labeled as "Exclude from Triangulation", it finds its way into our TIN model. The green line is the proposed finished grade, the white is excluded, and the blue line is what our TIN model shows. The green line is a child to the white if that makes any difference.
Thanks,
Andrew
OpenRoads "civil display browser" and one element's profile model crash in one SS4 file
The task I'm on involves forming complex chains that follow existing ditch flow lines so that I can view the existing profile along them. Many of them have included both Microstation elements (without civil data, and I can manipulate these with Microstation's Modify Element tool) and civil elements. They've all behaved fine when I opened the profile model on them.
One particular chain is not okay (for no reason that I have any guesses at). It crashed Geopak with a .NET error which I should have copied down, but I didn't.
I disabled Geopak and opened the file. As expected, the view I was using for the profile is not accessible, but otherwise the file opened, and I had access to the 3d model.
I enabled Geopak again and opened the file and everything seemed to be fine. I attempted to use the keyin civil display browser, which I thought was a no-brainer to reset the profile model. Geopak is crashed again.
The same thing happens on another computer in my office, and on the flip side, I can open other files just fine in Geopak.
I took a leap and discovered that I can render the profile in another view--view 6; I had been using view 7 in the past--and it works just fine, even on this element where the problem was triggered. The civil display browser continues to crash Geopak.
Any thoughts? I'm using Power Geopak .845
cross section view
In SS4 when looking at the cross section view of my model, existing ground line doesn't show up. It exists, it's active and my corridor is targeting it. It just doesn't show up in the x-section view. And it is NOT because it is really dark such as an earlier post stated. Any suggestions?
Thank You
SS4 - Active model - Banner Color
I am not sure if this is more a Microstation question or OpenRoads but here it goes;
When working with multiple models, like in OpenRoads when you have two different models open at the same time (Default and Default 3d), is it possible to have the "banner" (the top portion of the view window) be a different color? Currently, the active model is dark blue and the inactive model is a lighter blue. But, they are so close in color that it is very hard to tell them apart. It would be nice if the active model have a red (or some other different color) banner.
