Because it does happen, we need a way to fix files. I'm pretty sure this tool does exist it just need to be shared.
We can't always wait for a response from support team, they do a great job but we shouldn't have to ask for this.
Add this to improvement request, and make sure it reach developement, fast.

First off, I'm not a Bentley user (other than using Microstation V8 for Lidar processing with the TerraSolid Suite) and know nothing about OpenRoads - so please bear with me as I'm not sure I'm even in the right forum for this question. :) I have a colleague that needs me to provide them with a "surface" from a lidar data set I have. They noted a tin file would work and so I took an arcinfo grid file (generated from interpolating surface points) and created a TIN file in Arcmap. I now know that the "tin" file they were referring to is a .tin file which is not an ESRI TIN (.adf) file. After a bit of digging I found a script on this page (http://www.knickknackcivil.com/tin2landxml.html) that will convert an ESRI TIN into a LandXML surface which I believe can be imported by OpenRoads. However it looks like the script may not be updated for the latest library so it may not do the trick. My colleague, from what I understand, needs to add road edges and other breaklines to the surface before he can do further modelling/analysis.
Given all that, I thought I'd check here to see if anyone knew of another workflow for getting gridded surface data from Arcmap into Microstation/OpenRoads? Any guidance/advice would be very much appreciated!
Oh and I should note that my colleague is using Microstation 4.0 which I know is an older version but that's all I know about it.

I am really hoping that I am explaining this correctly. We have an engineer who is using a reference file and will Copy\Parallel. When they attempt to delete a copy, then GeoPak will crash and give what appears a standard exception screen. She has created the reference file from scratch and it continuously happens. Once the file crashes, it can no longer be opened by anyone. She has no issues with other reference files, just this one. Hopefully someone has seen this before and can give some insight.

Note that it is not sufficient to just put the two nodes atop each other, because unless the lines have a common node, a profile run cannot be created.
When a utility element is selected, the feature definition is not shown in the property panel. It is shown in the quick properties but not the property panel.
I am using subsurface utility engineering in ORD 10.07.01.32 to layout an existing watermain. I can't figure out how to place nodes for watermain features such as tees, wyes, crosses and vertical bends. there does not seem to be node definitions for these features. do I need to create custom nodes for these features, and if so, does anyone know where to find instructions on how to do this? any feedback is appreciated!
I'm having an issue with my alignment auto annotating in certain circumstances. If I create my horizontal geometry with simple lines and arcs or Complex by PI and then chain it, the stationing appears. However, if I create an alignment with Simple Lines and Simple Arcs from Elements, and then chain it, no stationing appears although the alignment does have stationing in the .gpk. I've tried creating the alignment other ways but I have 3 back to back curves with this alignment and this is the easiest way to create it.

Expectation is that rotation will be a function of the direction of the line to allow node to be placed, for example, at 90 degrees relative to the line direction.
Not only is it not possible define a rotation relative to the line but any input to the rotation field of the dialog is ignored.

It has come to our attention that the 2019 Release 2 (10.07.01.32) has a problem with the reprocessing of templates. This results in displaying both the correctly updated mesh and associated linear features, as well as the previous mesh and linear graphics. This problem arises after dealing with changes resulting from edited control geometry residing in a reference file(s).
Given the severity of the issue we have removed this version from software downloads. Rest assured we are working on a solution that repairs affected files and will post the new version once we have verified the fix and passed QA. When available you will receive a notification in the Connection Center to download the new version.

Symptoms
Template mesh objects and associated linear features appear to be duplicated with one instance being ‘static’ after an update to control geometry.

I'm relatively new to Open Roads so I need a bit of help trying to get the "Approach (Basic)" cell to work with this turbo roundabout. I was able to make the island's outside and inside EOP follow an alignments horizontal and vertical I made, but I can't seem to connect it to the sideroad. I'm sure I followed the prompts right (Outside Roundabout EOP First, then Inside EOP, Sideroad CL, Sideroad CL and Outside EOP intersection, Sideroad CL and Inside EOP intersection, and about 100+' back on the sideroad profile), but it goes straight to a hard crash afterwards.

I'm trying to import a utility model from SS4 to OpenRoads. I followed the instructions here. I load my .xin file, my .dat file, and my .sdb file. I didn't load a .idf file, but I'm not sure if that's necessary.
Here are the issues I'm having:
1. There is nothing in my Project Configuration dropdown menu to choose from. ( I guess I'm not sure if this is causing issue #2 below).
2. After I click OK and everything loads, I get this error below, which I'm assuming refers to the .dat file. I can't get any .dat files to load at all. I've tried several from other projects as well.
3. I also got this error below when I reloaded the Project Explorer tree.
Any idea what I'm missing? The process to import these files appears pretty straightforward, but it just isn't working for me. Any help would be appreciated.

We're having an issue with Superelevation eases for Parabolic Transitions (ie. Non-Linear Curve Length) not applying in ORD 2019 R2 using CSV import or tabular input, although displaying perfectly in the Superelevation editor.
After much checking and trial and error, it only seems to work when using Calculated Superelevation via a Rule file - has anyone found a workaround for this? We can't use a Superelevation Rule file as our transition locations are not in textbook locations due to aquaplaning, proximity to structures, etc. etc.
Can any one suggest, where is Style set editor or any similar tool in OpenRoads. Also please tell, how to give code while importing Survey from text in Field book, so that points and Break lines are visible and remain in different layers.
